Hey, I'm James! I look forward to getting to know you. I provide mental health therapy through secure video. I am in network with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and UMR. Schedule through my website to get a free consultation! Are you tired of waking up every morning wondering how you’re going to make it through another day? Do you get so anxious that it makes you physically sick? When you’re at your breaking point, you need someone on your side. As a mental health therapist for over 8 years, I see it as my privilege to take the time to understand what it's like to be you and to do my best to help you feel more in control of your life. I use scientifically supported techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, schema therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My specialities include working with adults who are going through hard life changes, family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, or who are just trying to figure out who they are. I really enjoy getting to know what makes my clients unique as people and then using this to help tackle whatever is sucking the fun out of life. One of the first things we can do in therapy is explore how you view the world and what the ingredients are to the problems bothering you. We'll make a plan together that feels right to you and is at the pace you need it to be. During each session, I want you to feel heard and cared about. My aim as your therapist is to support you in creating a more fulfilling life - a life you want to wake up to.
